The Happiness Project Week 4
Wine makes me happy almost every day! Sometimes 1 glass, sometimes MORE!
The crappy wine glass shown is so that you all think I am classier than I am. I normally drink out of a red plastic cup! Cause that is how I roll!
I've been known to take a wine glass CAMPING with me so I don't have to drink out of a cup. I can't drink wine out of just anything (ok that's not true, I've been known to drink it straight from the bottle if desperate)
Ooh, sometimes I drink wine out of plastic cups too. I have some very funky kids beakers from IKEA in bright colours that I like to use for that very purpose. Well, that way I don't run the risk of break yet another wine glass!
I usually drink out of a plastic glass too because I can take it anywhere and not worry about broken glass. Because leaving the wine in the kitchen is not possible!
I used to be a wine snob. I swirled and sipped and commented on the oakiness and the pineapply overtones.... then one day I was at one of myfavorite restaurants and the owner, a little Greek guy, said, "John! (he always called me John) why are you swirling da wine? If you like da wine just drink it!" So yeah. I'll drink wine from any vessel, be it a fine crystal wine glass, plastic cup or mason jar....
My parents came to town and started looking for my wine glasses which are non existent. I drink Gin and Tonic and wine from the same vessel thank you very much!
I miss having wine. I may have to buy some under the guise that it's really good for my heart. (We keep...liquor around the house. That's how classy we are. And I pour a mean 'rita...)
Really? A plastic cup? Really?

I'm with Dual Mom. Wine tastes SO much better out of a real wine glass. But in a pinch I will take a plastic cup - it is WINE after all!
ReplyDelete"Red, red wine, ya make me feel so fine..."
I know it's odd, but I just have never seen what's so great about wine. Blech!
ReplyDeleteYou should get a plastic wine glass. Classy :)

I loooove a glass of wine...but it's not the same w/out the pretty glass!!
ReplyDeleteMeh. I'm not picky either. But I do like pretty glasses.
ReplyDeleteI heart wine! Wine makes me completely happy :-)
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! A woman who says "cause that's how I roll" AND unpretentious enough to admit she drinks her wine from a red cup!
ReplyDeleteDJQ is diggin that!!!
I think you're very classy (wine glass or no wine glass) x
ReplyDeletewine makes me happy if i've had enough. but if i've had too much, it has the opposite effect.

ReplyDeleteWine is my BFF...plus I write best when I'm liquored up
ReplyDeleteI love some wine too. My husband and I had a bottle last night for no reason. :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm... I heart some vino too.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is, if I drink too much of it, it makes me very sleepy. Then I fall asleep. Then I wake up 4 hours later WIDE AWAKE.
So, I just drink vodka instead.
I've been known to drink it out of a coffee cup so that the kids think I'm being good. I call it mommy's happy juice :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm a vodka momma. I like Fresca and vodka. Try not to have it daily...but sometimes I just have to get catch a weekday buzz.
ReplyDeletemmmmmm a nice red. but then there is something to be said for a refreshing G&T. glass, definitely, for that one.
ReplyDeleteSounds pretty nice right about now...
ReplyDeleteI wish I liked wine, but I can't stand that shit.
ReplyDeleteThe only kind I've ever been able to stomach is Boones Farm.
Now THAT'S classy.
I miss having wine. I may have to buy some under the guise that it's really good for my heart. (We keep...liquor around the house. That's how classy we are. And I pour a mean 'rita...)
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks for getting all classy for us. It feels good to be fancy, huh?
ReplyDeleteA red plastic cup - love it! I want to see a picture of that!! I drink martinis usually.
ReplyDeleteNo wine for me! Beer though, plastic cup or otherwise suits me fine.
ReplyDeleteHaha thanks for the encouragement! http://mothertobee.blogspot.com/2010/03/weigh-in-week-11.html
