Keeping it lite

There has been a lot going on in my life over the last few weeks. A lot that I haven't talked about in my trying to "keep it lite and positive" So I am going to keep that up until I figure things out.

So here goes the "lite":

My friend bought into the Zerona non-evasive lipo suction company. His system will be one of the first in Colorado. I have managed to talk him into letting me be one of his Guinea pigs in exchange for a few Uhhemmm, pictures of me in a bathing suit that he will show others http://www.erchonia.com/default.asp?contentID=121 So last Thursday, me and all of my bikini clad glory stood in front of a camera for the before and after shots. By the way, I wont be sharing them unless the results are dramatic. I have the 3rd of my 6 sessions tonight.

Now every time I tell someone I am doing this, they look at me like I am nuts. I may be, but that is only because I am so damn vain. I admit it. I can't stand bulges and dents on my body. I work out a lot and I still have areas that now that I am 2 years away from being 40 and had a baby 2 years ago, wont GO AWAY!

So there it is, I am insecure right now and I think this will help me feel a little better about my appearance. I know it won't fix me, so I am working on that in other ways, plus people, it is FREE. Well it is free if you don't take into consideration that I have to pose in front of a camera in a bathing suit and allow them to show others my eww, body.

A few more "lite" updates.

I had a boxing session with my girlfriend 2 Saturdays ago. It was only a 1/2 hour sparing session that kicked my arse. Seriously, I have never had such a good workout. We then promptly rewarded are selves with TATTOOS. Yes, I did it. I LOVE it. My daughters sign is on my foot and it looks marvelous.

I took Thursday and Friday off of work because my daycare/friend lady went on vacation. So Thursday my 15 going on 25 year old step sister and I took toots to the community pool. I am thinking that when toots becomes a teenager and boy crazy I am going to have to invest in a bigger gun. Not sure if it will be for the boys or me. Wow, I had forgotten what the teenage years were like. She was in tears over a boy at the pool on Thurs and giddy over a different boy on Sunday. Oh, to have our drama be so easily dismissed.

Friday I had my annual Girl Doctors apt. Toots had to go with me and I was afraid that she was going to be showing everyone how to put her legs up and reach inside. To my happiness, she did not. She was very interested in what was going on though.

Saturday, we went back to the pool for more teenage drama. We just couldn't get enough I guess. Then off to another family BBQ, where after we left, I found out that the baby with goop in her eyes and that played with toots , did have pink eye. I am really excited about that one. Thanks

This Friday, daycare/friend lady and I are taking the kids to Splash water park. I am loving how much better toots is being in the water. She loves it and it makes me smile. She just amazes me daily.

Then on Saturday I have 3, count them 3 back to back soccer games and 1 on Sunday. I am not sure how I managed to sign up for this, but this may be my last blog. :)
