I have been watching the Bachelorette this season as I have done with random past seasons, but I am having a dilemma with this one and may have to stop watching. I know, the drama in my life is out of control. Every guy that I thought was HOT and sweet, she has given the boot to and is keeping the creepers. Hey, it actually sounds like my life story! Lol I just can't continue to watch the stupidity of this reality show if there is no eye candy for me to fantasize about. Maybe if some drama unfolds I will return to the pain. I would have made a much better Bachelorette back in my day. I am just sayin.
Hey, and do you think they actually sleep with all 3 guys on the "overnight dates"? I have always been curious about that one.
Toot's new saying is "Byciee haaaappy, Mommiee haaaappy" ! This truly makes me HAPPY"
I had to lay with Toots last night so she could fall asleep. She wrapped her little arms around my neck and held on for dear life. She is becoming a loving little girl when she is not being a demon. She says "I yuv you" all of the time now. I have been looking forward to this since I found out I was pregnant.
I love my mother by the way. She is so excepting of everything. She has the biggest heart ever and I really hope that she and my daughter have as close of a relationship as my grandma and I had. Saying those words to my family has always been uncomfortable for me so I will say it here. Isn't it funny how it takes us so freaking long in life to figure out how wonderful our mothers/parents are. If I would have just known this when I was young I could have made my life so much easier. I am sure Toots will figure out how great I am early!
It's my dads Birthday today and Fathers day on Sunday. I already called him this morning and sang "the song" to him even though I had to reminded him 3 days after my birthday that he forgot to call me. Oh, and he never called my daughter on hers because he said she was too young to understand. WTF! Oh well, I do know that he adores her, so what are words anyway? Maybe that is why I am uncomfortable saying sweet things to my family. Ya think?
On mothers day, my husband did not say Happy Mothers Day to me because he said that I am not his mother. So, I think I am going to go overboard on Fathers Day For him and see if I can make him feel bad. Just kidding. I do however feel like anyone that is a father or a mother deserve to have a great day and to be respected with at least a verbal wish. So, a BIG HAPPY FATHERS DAY to all daddy's out there.
My 16 year old step sister got 4 D's and 2 F's on her report card this last semester and her mom and dad are buying her a car. There is nothing like rewarding bad behavior. I will say though, that I LOVE my step dad because he has a huge heart. I guess his brain has a few issues though. :)
My work-out partner and good friend is in Cali this week and I am blaming her for my lack of motivation on the exercise front. It is definitely her fault that my ass shakes.
Anywho, life seems to be cruising along right now with no drama other than a two year old demon with the heart of gold.
Hey Danielle! OMG - we have so many little weird things in common! MY dad's birthday was June 15th! And I have 2 half-sister's 16 and 18 years old. And my mom is my bestest friend, even though I don't show her near as much appreciation as I should. weird, eh?
ReplyDeleteThose photos of Toots are gorgeous! Where did you have them done at???
Alicia- Thanks, I got the pictures taken at
ReplyDeletehttp://www.portraitinnovations.com/index.html. They are great and you get the pictures that day. We do have a lot in common. I wish you lived in Colorado.
I think they sleep together on those overnighters... at least a lot of times...
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend with all of the celebrations : )
I don't know if they go all the way on the overnight dates, but I'm betting that she at least sizes up the peen one way or another.
ReplyDeleteAny smart woman would. ;)
Here's to life cruising right along! Were it that way for everyone.. Love your attitude.
ReplyDeleteKathy B- Wouldn't you love to be a fly on the wall in the rooms.
ReplyDeleteCandice-You at least have see if the package is worth opening. :) LOVE your blog
Dadshouse-Smooth at last. I look forward to reading your controversial posts so that I can see some drama! They have been pretty mellow latley. Give a girl some love!
I've always wondered what happened on those overnight dates, too... ha ha. It's the first season that I've said "No" to the Bachelor/ette series. Whew.
