I am leaving on a jet plane. Wish I didn't know when I would be back again!

I hate packing for a trip and it is worse now that I am taking a toddler with me. You never know what she will be into or how many times a day I will need to change her clothes, so it poses a problem for me and my trying to pack light.

Plus, I am having a little anxiety about a few people that I will be seeing. I have arranged to see a few people that I haven't seen in um, lets say 9 years now. I don't look like I used to and I sure as hell don't act the same. I used to be a petite, hard bodied, blond chick that had NO insecurities. Well, at least not that I would have admitted to anyway. Now, not so much. Oh well, at some point you gotta say "like me for what I have packed in these jeans or don't!

I am very excited to see my family and watch as they take my daughter in the same way they have always done with me! I have an amazing family! I do however wish my grandmother (the most important influence on my life to this day) was around to meet my daughter. They would have loved each other. In fact I often say that Toots is my grandmother reincarnated. That is actually why I call her toots. My grandmother lovingly acquired the nick-name toodles because when she got Alzheimer's, she would just toodle around touching everything. She was never in a hurry and I was always teasing her. "You just toodle everywhere and never really get anywhere!" I feel the same way about my 2 year old. I am constantly hurrying her along.

In other news. I have been journal-ing in a note book lately, while I try to figure myself out, and guess what? It is missing. So either I am going to be horrified when someone finds it, or, OR my husband has it. He keeps making snide comments on how I can just go write down what a bad person he is, so it is making me wonder. Could be embarrassing though!

I will be moving out when I get back. I am not really looking forward to the actual move part, but having some peace and a lot less anger will be good for the soul. Plus my daughter has been yelling at the other kids at daycare lately. I am guessing I know where she is getting it. Yep, time for a change.

So, while I am gone, if you all could keep your blogging to a minimum so that I have less to catch up on when I get back, I would appreciate it! :)

I am so sorry to hear that your notebook is missing, I really hope that your daughter picked it up and played with it and hid it somewhere.

Grandmothers are the best ! My Oma passed away 3 years ago. I would've wanted her at my wedding and see her great-grandchildren if I have any.
