Gettin there!

Virgo Love Horoscope for the Week of October 18

October 17, 2010 By Michelle Piller Leave a Comment

Kiss ‘em goodbye: all of the self-recriminations, the mind games, the shoulda’s and the coulda’s. Buh-bye. A new and feistier sense of identity is emerging from a space deep within. It’s hardier than the ego you’re accustomed to wearing, and it’s born from all of the bits and pieces of yourself that you’ve never known what to do with. Don’t worry; the new you gradually coming out of its cocoon isn’t nearly as Frankenstein-like as I’ve made it out to be. I’m just trying to alert you to the fact that every aspect of you is valuable, even those you’re trying to change.

I need to remember this last line.  I am sticking it to my computer right this second.  I am valuable, even the parts that I want to change because they make me who I am and at least who I am is someone that knows that I need to change and fix somethings.  I have realized that that in its self is huge.

I have taken a small break from blogging lately and may continue to do so for a while.  I realized that I was too busy reading and playing on my blog to spend time actually fixing "me".  So know that I love you all and will be back, but for now, I need to focus on making me the person that will make me and my daughter proud!

  1. Danielle this is a wonderful post and you are morte valuable then you ever could believe. Sometimes we dont need to be fixed as nothing is really broken... we are just changing....
I would just like to know what you think you need to fix....
because beauty is not one of them...

  4. I agree - that last line rocks! I've noticed a lot of my favorites are slowing it down lately. Guess that's what we need right now. Don't worry; I'll be here!

  5. Of course every bit of you has value! Never think otherwise. You take as long as you need, I think your readers will be here when you get back.

I know I will and you know where to find me!

  9. More power to you, Danielle. It's really hard to break old habits, even when they're hurting us. But it sounds like you're really determined and you have your head on straight. Don't be too hard on yourself - and keep reminding yourself of that last line - you're valuable; you deserve to be happy and feel whole; you're capable of being the person you want to be. The growing pains aren't fun, but I think they're your path to the next step.

  13. Everything you are or have ever been is you--don't be afraid of anything you are and don't try to rid yourself of anything you have been--find the middle ground and you will find that most people live there and you will be comfortable there.
Be the best mother you can be and the rest will follow.
Oh, and I think you are already there by just saying it

I haven't changed all that much, I'm still me but I changed how I thought about me and man, do I like myself a whole lot better!

You got this!! I'm not going anywhere. Be right here waiting for you! Muahs!
